Summary:
The Intellectual Property Innovation & Entrepreneurship Contest Global (IPIEC Global) is one of the innovation and entrepreneurship contests at the state level with greatest global influence. Having been successfully held for two years, the contest spans 9 countries and regions, including UK, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Israel, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and Hong Kong. The IPIEC Global 2018 has successfully attracted 1285 applications from around the world. The contest aims at connecting innovative technologies with enterprises, marketing operation with government policies, facilitating collaborative innovation in the industry, and enhancing competitive advantages. The ten finalists will give their pitching onstage. The Champion and the 1st Runner-up will represent Hong Kong to compete at the Global Semi Final of IPIEC Global 2019 to be held on the Mainland in December in order to qualify for the Global Grand Final and vie for the prize of US$100,000 and matching global I&T venture capital.
