Hong Kong Food Carnival
To promote the development of the Hong Kong food industry and advocate for healthy eating, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) first organized the "2009 Hong Kong Food Carnival" (Food Carnival) in 2009. In 2017, it was renamed as the "Hong Kong Food Carnival", receiving overwhelming responses and gaining a positive reputation. However, due to social movements and the COVID-19 pandemic, the 8th Food Carnival had to be canceled for two consecutive years and resumed in 2021 at the Kwai Chung Sports Ground.
With the pandemic situation becoming clearer, the government lifted all social distancing restrictions. The popular "Yummy Food Zone" made a strong comeback, and the Food Carnival was well-received by the citizens, attracting over 200,000 visitors and achieving a successful outcome.
