Immerse Yourself in the Incredible Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo

The much-awaited annual shopping extravaganza Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE) is right around the corner! Organised by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) and already in its 56th running, the expo will take place from Friday, 9 December to Sunday, 1 January 2023 at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. It will feature not only a stunning line-up of products but also a rich diversity of activities, including a special toy zone, which is sure to bring back Hongkongers’ nostalgic memories.

Dr Allen Shi, President of the CMA, said, “The scale of this year’s event has almost returned to pre-epidemic levels, with more than 860 outdoor booths. This is a sign that life is getting back to normal and business confidence is rising.”

As the event marks the grand finale celebration of its 88th anniversary, the CMA has also devoted considerable resources to enriching the experience of visitors. One of the biggest highlights is the brand-new “Hong Kong Toy Era” thematic zone. According to Dr Shi, “Promoting the contributions of manufacturing industry to Hong Kong’s economy is a key mission of the HKBPE. It is hard to imagine the celebration of industrial achievement without considering Hong Kong’s toy-making legacy as a one-time leading toy exporter in the world.” All the features of this thematic zone, such as the vintage toy display, interactive games play area and product booths, will take grown-ups on trips down their childhood memory lanes and encourage them to join in the fun with their children.

The expo will feature ten thematic areas, including Hong Kong Brands Square; Food & Beverages Zone; Grocery & Noodles Zone; Ginseng, Dried Seafood & Soup Packs Zone; Beauty & Healthcare Zone; Fashion & Stylish Products Zone; Living & Household Zone, Social Enterprises Zone,Promotion Zone and the above-mentioned “Hong Kong Toy Era” thematic zone, all of which will offer a feast of quality products for purchase. Visitors can enjoy good savings on large amount of items. These offers are also available on Online HKBPE. Bargain hunters can also grab $1 items—such as abalone, noodles and abalone in abalone sauce, dried scallops, yam noodles, soft cleanser, shrimp chips, and ginger candy—on site on a first-come-first-served basis.

Mr Ivan Sze, Vice President of the CMA cum Chairman of CMA Exhibition Services Limited, said, “Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year are the biggest spending spree in the year. While prices are soaring everywhere amid inflation, the HKBPE keeps its products affordable to make holiday shopping easier on everyone’s wallets.”

To celebrate the 88th anniversary of the CMA, the expo will run a reward campaign under the banner “Eight Super Rewards for the CMA 88th Anniversary”, which will provide fans of HKBPE fun ways to obtain prizes and gifts:
