CMA 88th Anniversary Cup
To celebrate the 88th anniversary of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), The CMA was pleased to present the “CMA 88th Anniversary Cup” on 18 September at Sha Tin Racecourse to commemorate this special moment and to share with the general public the joy of the anniversary. About 110 guests attended the event including The Hon Andrew Leung, President of the Legislative Council; The Hon Jeffrey Lam, member of Executive Council; Professor Nelson Lam, Director of Audit; CMA President, CMA Legislative Council Representative, Vice Presidents, Honorary Presidents, Executive and General Committee Members, Honorary General Committee Members, Chairmen and members of Ladies’ Committee and Youth Committee, as well as business leaders and elites from education sectors.
“CMA 88th Anniversary Cup” was arranged at the 7th race, at which Class 3 racing 1,200 metres. The champion went to “SETANTA”. President Dr Allen Shi, CMA Legislative Council Representative, The Hon Jimmy Ng, and Executive Vice President Dr Wingco Lo presented the trophies to the winning Owner, the representative of Trainer and Jockey respectively immediately after the race. CMA has arranged a lucky draw program for guessing the winning horse of “CMA 88th Anniversary Cup”. Drawn by Mr James Lau and Ms Alice Woo, the winning Owners, the lucky draw prize was obtained by CMA Executive Committee Member Ms Eva Choy.
