"BUD Fund and TVP Application Practice Meeting"
 
CMA Trade & Industry Committee, Innovation & Information Technology Committee, Members Affairs Committee and the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, jointly held a "BUD Fund and TVP Application Practice Meeting" on July 5. Representatives of Hong Kong Productivity Council were invited to introduce the application procedures of "TVP" and the latest enhanced measures of "BUD Fund", and exchange views with  participants on application practice of the funding scheme. Participants from CMA side included Executive Vice President Dr Lo Kam Wing, Vice President cum Chairman of CMA Trade and Industry Committee Mr Dennis Ng; Chairman of Innovation and Information Technology cum Executive Committee Member Mr Ng Cheung Shing; CEO Dr Ralph Chow; Executive Committee Members Mr Victor Lam, Mr Marvin Hsu, Ms Stella Lee, Ms Lee Jai Ying; General Committee Members Mr Lau Chi Wing, Mr Lo Ching Kong; Convenor of Chinese Herbal Medicine Industrial Committee Mr John Wan; as well as representatives of nearly 40 member companies. Representatives of HKPC included Chief Operating Officer of Funding Scheme Branch Office Ms Vivian Lin, General Manager of Funding Schemes Ms Anastasia Poon, General Manager of Technology Funding Mr Ernest Chan, Head of Programme Management Mr Hubert Lau, Head of BUD Mr Ip Yuk Kin, Head of Business Development and Operational Excellence Ms Stella Leung, and Senior Manager of Business Development and Operational Excellence Mr Vincent Kwok.
