Today (March 29) marks the grand opening of the eagerly awaited 6th edition of Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE), Macau at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre. Spanning four days and concluding on April 1, the expo sets the stage for an Easter festivity brimming with attractive deals, exhilarating entertainment, and memorable experiences for attendees.
At the opening ceremony this morning, Dr Wingco Lo, President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), shared his excitement about the expo, highlighting its role in cultivating synergistic ties between Hong Kong and Macau. Dr Lo stated, “Macau’s booming tourism sector and expertise in hosting grand international events will elevate the expo to new heights. Simultaneously, the renowned HKBPE brand, cherished by Chinese consumers, is set to entice an even larger influx of tourists to Macau.”
Distinguished guests, including Mr Vincent U, President of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM); Ms Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of Macao Government Tourism Office; Ms Lo Tsz Man, Head of Foreign Trade Division of Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the MSAR Government; Dr Chan Pak Li, Bernard, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the HKSAR Government; and office-bearers of the CMA, including Vice President cum Chairman of the CMA Exhibition Services Limited Mr Ivan Sze, Honorary Permanent President Dr Allen Shi, Executive Vice President Dr Warren Ma, Vice Presidents Mr Simon Wong, Mr Dennis Ng, Mr Albert Chuang and Dr Ellis Wong, and CEO Mr Ralph Chow, as well as the Promotional Ambassador of this year’s HKBPE, Macau, Ms Nancy Sit, also graced the opening ceremony with their presence.
This year’s HKBPE, Macau boasts five thematic zones with over 230 booths, showcasing a vast array of Hong Kong and global products. Visitors can explore a wide range of offerings, including cooked food, packaged food and beverages, dried seafood, home appliances, sophisticated kitchenware, beauty and healthcare products, as well as apparel and accessories. Exceptional bargains await, with selective merchandise available at substantial discounts of up to 90% off, or for the unbelievable price of MOP$1.
To celebrate the CMA’s 90th anniversary, exhibitors are distributing exclusive lucky bags on the opening day. These bags are packed with splendid surprises, such as premium American kitchenware, fresh yogurt products, and dried abalone, at greatly discounted prices of up to 90% off. The allure of these lucky bags and the best deals has attracted throngs of visitors this morning.
