2026 “Hong Kong · The Parade of Top Brands” Serial Awards Opens for Entries
New Go Global Awards Introduced to Support International Expansion

The Hong Kong Brand Development Council (BDC) and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) announced today (15 July) that entries are now open for the 2026 “Hong Kong · The Parade of Top Brands” Serial Awards. In response to the restructuring of global supply chains and the evolving trend of corporate international expansion, two new award categories, the Go Global Top Brand Awards and the Go Global Top Service Brand Awards, have been introduced as part of the series. The new awards are designed to strengthen Hong Kong’s role as an international brand hub and supply chain management centre.

For over two decades, the Hong Kong Top Brand Awards, the Hong Kong Top Service Brand Awards, the Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards and the Hong Kong Emerging Service Brand Awards have served as a hallmark of excellence, showcasing the innovation, professionalism and competitiveness of Hong Kong brands. Building on this legacy, the two new award categories aim to honour brands that have leveraged Hong Kong as a strategic hub for cross-boundary expansion with remarkable success. They also seek to encourage more enterprises to capitalise on the city’s advantages to enhance their brand value and broaden their global footprint.

Building a high value-added brand platform
CMA President Dr Wingco Lo stated that, as Hong Kong is at a critical stage in its third economic transformation, developing a “brand economy” and building a “high-value-added supply chain management centre” are the two key priorities for reshaping the city’s competitive edge. The latest additions to the series provide a broader and more robust platform to support local, Mainland and overseas enterprises in their course of “going global”, while reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a dual gateway between the Mainland market and the global market.

BDC Chairman Mr Calvin Chan added that Hong Kong is emerging as a regional hub for brand creation and expansion with its unique connectivity. He said that the new initiative will further consolidate this position and underscore the BDC’s commitment to promoting brand development beyond the local market.

Applications and nominations now open
To highlight Hong Kong’s position as a hub for premier brands, the serial awards are presented under the banner “Hong Kong · The Parade of Top Brands”. Applications are open until 31 August 2026, with preliminary and final judging to be conducted between November 2026 and January 2027. Nominations are also now open for the Hong Kong Top Brand Ten Year Achievement Award, the Hong Kong Top Service Brand Ten Year Achievement Award, and the Hong Kong Distinguished Brand Leadership Award.

Prestigious judging panel underpins reputation of the awards
The final judging panels for the Hong Kong Top Brand Awards, the Hong Kong Top Service Brand Awards, and the joint panel for both the Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards and the Hong Kong Emerging Service Brand Awards will be chaired respectively by Mr Aaron Liu, Director-General of Trade and Industry; Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; and Ms Angela Lee, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development. Additionally, Mr Peter Yan, Director-General of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES), will chair the panel for the newly introduced Go Global Top Brand and Go Global Top Service Brand Awards.

The 2026 Awards Presentation Ceremony-cum-Gala Dinner will be held on 2 February 2027 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Financial Secretary Mr Paul Chan as the Guest of Honour. Supporting the event are Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) as Event Sponsor and KPMG as Official Honorary Auditor.
