He stated, “As our country embarks on the 15th Five‑Year Plan, Hong Kong will continue to contribute to the country’s high‑quality development and high‑standard opening-up.”

Dr Lo added that Hong Kong’s opportunities and advantages continue to evolve. The HKSAR Government is currently formulating the city’s first Five-Year Plan to better align with the nation’s broader development strategies. This blueprint will provide international businesses with a clearer and more predictable policy environment, as well as diversified growth opportunities.

As a connector for the global business community, the CMA helps companies explore emerging markets along the Belt and Road through various exchange and business-matching activities, while also offering comprehensive support for enterprises expanding their global footprint.  Dr Lo looks forward to deepening cooperation with the consular corps in Hong Kong, turning uncertainties into opportunities and creating win-win outcomes together.
