Organized by Shandong Province People’s Government and Co-organized by CMA , “Opening Ceremony of 2026 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week & Shandong-Hong Kong Cooperation Exchange Conference (Co-organized by CMA)” was held at Kerry Hotel Hong Kong on 19 May. Ms Ge Huijun, Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr Wen Nuan, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, Mr John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region & Ms Margaret Fong, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.CMA President Dr Wingco Lo  attended as one of the speaking guests and delivered a speech in the Conference, and posed a photo with Vice President Mr Dennis Ng.
