“Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit 2026”was held at Beijing on 18 May. The opening ceremony was hosted by Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). And Han Zheng,  vice president of the People's Republic of China and Yolanda Díaz Pérez, Second Vice-President and Minister of Labour and Social Economy of Spain attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. CMA President Dr Lo Kam Wing attended and served as one of the guest speakers at the parallel forum.
