CMA Delegation to Shaanxi Province

Upon invitation by the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province, CMA President Dr Eddy Li led a 17-members delegation to Shaanxi from 3 to 7 April.
The delegation met with some senior government officials of Shannxi including Mr Ma Zhongping, Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Mr Yao Zengzhan, Secretary General of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Mr Chen Qiang, Minister of United Front Work Department of The CPC Committee of Shaanxi Province and Mr Zhang Lei, Vice Minister of United Front Work Department of The CPC Committee of Shaanxi Province.
The delegation attended the banquet receptions hosted by Mr Ma Zhongping, Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr Zhang Lei, Vice Minister of United Front Work Department of The CPC Committee of Shaanxi Province, People’s Government of Yanan and Huangling respectively, “The Pilgrimage Ceremony to Yellow Emperor Xuanyuanhuangdi in the year of Yiwei” and ceremony of tree-planting event. Senior government officials including Mr Ma Biao, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr Zhao Zhengyong, Secretary of Shaanxi Provincial CCPC, Mr Lou Qinjian, Governor of People's Government of Shaanxi Province, Mr Ma Zhongping, Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr Jiang Zelin, Executive Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province also attended “The Pilgrimage Ceremony to Yellow Emperor Xuanyuanhuangdi in the year of Yiwei”
During the trip, the delegation also toured some local historic places in Xian, Baoji, Yanan and Hanzhong.
Deputy leaders of the delegation were CMA Vice Presidents Dr Edward Tsui, Mr Ng Ching Wun, CMA Honorary President Mr Chan Kim Sing. Other delegates includes CMA General Committee Members Mr Yu Tak Ming, Mr Lui Chun Fan, Mr Antonia Hugh, Mr Sam Fu, Catering Services Committee Chairman Mr Jimmy Tsang, CMA Ladies’ Committee Vice Chairwoman Mrs Li Yuen Kam Luen, Vice Recreational Officer Mrs Fiona Tsui, CMA Youth Committee Member Mr Harvey Tsui, CMA Members and staffs from CMA Secretariat.
