CMA Delegation to the “11th Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau’s Trade and Economic Forum”

CMA President Mr Irons Sze led a 26-member delegation to “The 11th Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau’s Trade and Economic Forum” co-organized by CMA, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Macao Chamber of Commerce in Xiamen from 6 to 8 September.
CMA President Mr Irons Sze attended the welcome dinner hosted by Vice-Chairman of 12th session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference cum Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce Mr Wang Qinmin in Xiamen on 6 September
On 7 September, the delegation attended the Opening Ceremony of “The 11th Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau’s Trade and Economic Forum”. Major leaders from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau including Vice-Chairman of 12th session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference cum Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce Mr Wang Qinmin, Chairman of Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Mr Zhang Changping, Chairman of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr Chao Shou Po and President of Macao Chamber of Commerce Mr Ma Iao Lai also attended this ceremony
CMA Vice President Mr Jimmy Ng, Assistant Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Mr Raymond Yip & CMA General Committee Member Dr Sunny Chai delivered speeches on topics of “Sharing superiority and opportunities - facilitate the economic development among Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau through industrial’ cooperation”, “Think Global, Think Hong Kong” & “First Step in Low Carbon Living: The First Product Carbon Footprint Label in Hong Kong” respectively.
At night, CMA Preisdent Mr Irons Sze attended the welcome dinner of “The17th China International Fair for Investment and Trade” and met with Governor of Fujian Province Mr Su Shulin.
On 8 September, the delegation also attended the Opening Ceremony of “The17th China International Fair for Investment and Trade”, visited Hong Kong Pavilion and attended the luncheon hosted by Executive Vice President of Xiamen General Chamber of Commerce Mr Dong Renshen afterwards.
The Leader of the delegation was CMA President Mr Irons Sze, Deputy leaders of the delegation were CMA Vice Presidents Mr Jimmy Ng, Dr Edward Tsui, Mr Ng Ching Wun, CMA Honorary President Mr Chan Kim Sing. Guest of the delegation was Assistant Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Mr Raymond Yip. CMA CEO Miss Adeline Wong and other delegates including CMA Executive Committee Members Ms Stella Lee, Ms Lee Jai Ying, CMA General Committee Members Mr Johnny Yu, Mr Lui Chun Fan, Dr Sunny Chai, Mr Calvin Lam, Dr Banny Tam, Mr Yu Tak Ming, Mr Ricky Ngo, Mr Wong Man Yuen, CMA Youth Committee Member Mr Michael Wong and Mr Vincent Leung, media representatives and staffs from CMA Secretariat, 26 delegates in total.
