Consumers and investors are increasingly focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability criteria in making their purchasing and investment decisions. The current pandemic also poses the need for effective sanitization technologies together with environmental challenges including the explosive increase of landfill wastes from takeaway meals and facemasks. Novel materials and technologies are in great demand from the industry to minimize carbon footprint. In this seminar, we will present innovative and environmentally friendly packaging and biodegradable materials, as well as effective and safe air and surface sanitization technologies for the development of sustainable products.
