After an absence of four years, the 5th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE), Macau, organised by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), is set to return to Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7‒10 April 2023, featuring the very best products and brands from Hong Kong during an unrivalled four days of promotions, surprises and fun.
At today’s press conference, CMA President Dr Allen Shi said, “We are delighted to be able to bring back the expo to Macau, a market that we very much value. As one of the most energetic cities in the world and also an important link connecting various cities in the Greater Bay Area, Macau is an ideal platform for Hong Kong enterprises that are eager to capture the business opportunities brought about by the rapid expansion of domestic demand. By leveraging these advantages of Macau and the reputed brand name of ‘HKBPE’, we hope that the expo will also help facilitate the high-quality growth of the Greater Bay Area consumer market.”
Encompassing more than 260 booths situated in a Fashion and Beauty Products Zone, a Living and Household Products Zone, a Leisure Food Zone and a Health Preserving Food Zone, the expo will treat visitors to a diverse range of the finest Hong Kong goods, from food and beverages to household appliances, kitchenware, beauty and healthcare products, apparel and accessories.
Taking place alongside the expo, the “‘Hong Kong.IN.Brand Greater Bay’ Macao Brandfest”, a brand exhibition co-hosted by the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the CMA and sponsored by the Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund of the Trade and Industry Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, will enable visitors to experience Hong Kong’s unique brand culture heritage from a new perspective via a product gallery and interactive activities.
